You need to exercise for long hours
The myth that you need to exercise for long hours in order to see results is based on the belief that more time spent exercising leads to better results. However, this is not always the case. The amount of time you need to spend exercising depends on several factors, including your fitness goals, current fitness level, and the intensity of your workout. Research has shown that even short, high-intensity workouts can be just as effective as longer, lower-intensity workouts, as long as they are done regularly and with proper form. It's also important to avoid overtraining, which can lead to injury and burnout. The key to successful exercise is finding a routine that is challenging, yet manageable, and fits into your schedule and lifestyle.
Spot reduction is possible
The myth of spot reduction suggests that it's possible to target and reduce fat in specific areas of the body through exercise. This is based on the belief that you can "tone" or "tighten" a specific muscle by working it out, which will then result in reduced fat in that area. However, this is not how fat loss works. Fat loss occurs when you burn more calories than you consume, and it happens across your entire body, not just in one specific area. No amount of exercise can selectively reduce fat in just one area. To reduce overall body fat, you need to create a calorie deficit through a combination of diet and exercise, and be patient as it may take time to see results.
